It all began in a cozy Hong Kong kitchen, where an Indonesian father, inspired by the flavours of his homeland, embarked on a simple yet heartfelt mission: to recreate the beloved tempeh of his childhood. What started as a small act of love—offering a taste of home to the Indonesian-Chinese community—soon blossomed into something far greater. Word spread, and his handcrafted tempeh became a sensation, winning over hearts and taste buds alike.
By 2009, this humble kitchen venture had outgrown its beginnings. We took a bold step forward, transitioning to a professional factory with a singular goal: to bring high-quality tempeh to more people, all at an affordable price.
Then came 2020—a year that reshaped the way we all think about health and wellness. As Hong Kong residents began embracing healthier diets, demand for tempeh skyrocketed. Rising to the challenge, we seized the moment to innovate. With upgraded facilities and guidance from European experts, we refined our production process, combining science with tradition to perfect every block of tempeh.
